SELF PORTRAIT

Chuck Close has always been a favorite of mine ever since I saw his work as a teenager. This is the largest portrait I have ever painted and figured if I was going to screw it up I should use myself as a subject. I used a similar technique that Chuck Close did but nowhere near the sheer size of his pieces. This one measures 60" x 48".
